How Poster Work By Rafid Khan

How Poster Work By Rafid Khan

1) Forest Scene Poster

This poster helps us show how something basic as this forest poster can still show such symbolism and interpret a very strong message that can tend to get the audiences attention.  The path gives a sense of curiosity by luring the audience into the forest, by making the viewers get the curiosity getting the better of it and go through this path to unfold any secrets or treasures that is awaiting for them as they dig deeper. In which it gives a wonder and a sense of adventures that is yet to come as they are debating their choices on whether if they want to enter this forest or not. It makes it very catchy and seem to hypnotize the viewer's attention through emotions between concern and curiosity. It gives you exploration and gives you creativity on alternatives or scenarios that could take place.

2) World War 2 Poster

It creates a literal imagery by promoting a literal strong message through visualization. Instead of creating a indirect visualization by using propaganda to let the audience figure themselves out on their own , it creates a simplicity featuring food scrap and waste. This can't be any simple or easier than this as this poster is something most of the audience should instantly get the gist of the poster as the signs of it are obvious. It's purpose is to question their audience and reconsidered their surroundings on how even our basic needs have such important powers and symbols to it but we never realize in our everyday lives like food. In which they use food scrap as a way to highlight on not creating waste in our environment but rather to look after our actions on what we're doing to it. It is to provide a reminder that our possessions or needs is someone else's dream or desire to have in other parts of the world and that we must create that form of gratitude through using it beneficially rather than taking it for granted like food. When it comes to designing, sometimes the most simple design can often provide a strong emotions and reflection than a sophisticated design that creates a confusion. Just like the food scrap that is presented as a part of the WW2 poster, my poster design can be just as simple but have a very strong message behind it.

3) Spanish Civil War Poster

This poster creates a profound significant attention by the glass of water, it symbolizes hope, power and freedom through this poster as the government have supplied the people with clean water. This creates an importance of a basic needs by showing how this clean water was a very major weapon during the Spanish Civil War and seem to play a very major role upon it. This helps us show how our everyday objects can often symbolize a very strong and deep message behind it in such events in our lives just like clean water's significant role in the Spanish Civil War. This can be reflected and associated with my design by highlighting the significance and beauty is often found right in front of us....even while we're drinking a glass of water right now which can create alternate perspectives (such as purity in my opinion), it is giving us an opportunity to appreciate the little things that we possess or use as we'll never know when we might need it especially during a form of crisis that could take place one day.

4) BAC Opera Poster

This poster helps create a fundamental perspectives of graphic design by creating a consistent emotional responses and balance this emotions between the audience and the propaganda itself. The visualization of the faceless figure with a scream shows a complexity for the audience's emotions and perspective to dig deeper. Imagery is often shown as a power in this poster to create an adventure filled with curiosity in regards of this eerie poster that have dimensions of thoughts and ideas that can be expressed to it. This artwork can be used as a part of my design by looking forward to create a very eerie, twisted looking design to make the viewer feel uncomfortable through thoughts and emotions.

5) Polish King Kong Poster

This shows a very unique and talented looking poster as the artist seems to promote or draw his own version of  King Kong. It gives an idea of creativity and innovation at it's finest due to how unique the author made this poster, indicating that using your knowledge and creativity is infinity and beyond. Through remaking this into his or her own style of King Kong, the poster seem to show that there is no boundaries or plagiarism upon creating arts as long as you are making a better or stronger message out of designing this through your own personal styles . It is very accurate and giving the audience into showing to not be afraid of creating or pursuing something as long as you got the motivation and inspiration to make this perfection like this design. I think this sends a message into creating my design poster by teaching me not to hold myself back and unleash my creativity upon this upcoming assignment as well as turn my intellectual and creativity into a inner beast of myself while seeing where this will guide or lead me to.
