Call to Action Poster Final By Rafid Khan

Call to Action Poster Final By Rafid Khan  #1  In this poster, first of all, I colored the page with a dark red blood color to represent violence that is taking place. I then imported the handcuff into the page and aligned and made it big to make it bold. The reason why I put handcuff because of how people are silenced from being able to defend themselves and held captive in their own land. It is to show how they're imprisoned in their own land in a way while not being able to fight back their land.  I used Franklin Gothic fonts to write "IT DID NOT START ON OCT 7TH" to show that this conflict had started way before around 1947. Underneath the "IT DID NOT START ON OCT 7TH", I put "END THE GENOCIDE". In between the two hands, I put "CEASE FIRE NOW!" except I made "NOW!" a bright red color to sh...

Call to Action Poster Roughs By Rafid Khan

Image
I draw a circle, and in the circle, I drew a bird in shape of a dove supposedly. I drew that in the middle of the poster. On the left side, I drew a wing portraying as Israel and on the right side I drew a wing portraying as Palestine. On the bottom of the poster, I wrote Two State Solution title to portray the possible solution of this connect/social justice.  I drew/wrote CEASE FIRE NOW! On the top, I wrote CEASE, in the middle, I wrote FIRE and in the bottom, I wrote NOW! But I make it bigger every time. Then I drew the Palestine and Israel flag onto the CEASEFIRE NOW. It’s suppose to be a transparency that is suppose to blend in with the text.  In this design, I drew the Israel/Palestine country map in the middle. On the left side, I wrote Israel vertically and 1947 underneath and wrote it horizontally. On the right side, I had Palestine vertically and wrote 2024 horizontally. On the bottom of the poster, I wrote END POVERTY.END HUNGER. as to portray my main message...

How Poster Work By Rafid Khan  1) Forest Scene Poster  This poster helps us show how something basic as this forest poster can still show such symbolism and interpret a very strong message that can tend to get the audiences attention.  The path gives a sense of curiosity by luring the audience into the forest, by making the viewers get the curiosity getting the better of it and go through this path to unfold any secrets or treasures that is awaiting for them as they dig deeper. In which it gives a wonder and a sense of adventures that is yet to come as they are debating their choices on whether if they want to enter this forest or not. It makes it very catchy and seem to hypnotize the viewer's attention through emotions between concern and curiosity. It gives yo...

6-5, 7-1, 7-2 social justice spreads reflection By Rafid Khan     Prompt: B logger reflection of your experience with creating your social justice spreads (500 words). Write at least 1 page My social justice is about the Israel and Palestine conflict, in which I am addressing the genocide that is taking place in the last 75 years or so. I chose to do this as my social justice in order to show how big of a deal that conflict really is and my goal is to educate others about it. Through making these process, I myself also learned a lot about this social justice issues along the way of designing my social justice spread. I think it came out fine  although it might still need a lot of work and a lot of sophistication on my part of designing it. But here is the process and the step that I took in order to make this design on Adobe InDesign: On my first spreadsheet I talked a "BRIEF HISTORY" about my design. But it is more like a Brief History about Israel and Palest...
